About
Health and Safety Academy at ACE High School is a  program committed to offering a full and articulated college preparatory curriculum and rigorous career coursework focused on the health and public safety careers to students within our community.  We will meet the growing demand for medical and public safety professionals by preparing a diverse student body to go on to the best colleges and universities.  Students will have the opportunity to participate in an innovative four-year  program, which will provide students with practical learning experiences under the supervision and guidance of health and public safety professionals in the classroom and through off campus opportunities.

Health and Safety Academy offers students interested in science, health, and public safety careers an alternative to the traditional high school experience. Students will benefit from a diverse environment dedicated to providing students with essential skills for the 21st century workplace.

Utilize this in-depth overview of the American criminal justice system to make important decisions that may lead to a career as a police officer, federal law enforcement officer, corrections officer, probation officer, or a criminal or civil law attorney.

Learn to provide immediate care to an ill or injured person and to assist emergency medical service EMS providers. Completion of this class will provide a strong background useful in lifeguard positions, fire service, sports medicine, ski patrol, medical facilities and in preparation for the EMT course.

National Honor Society of Sports Medicine

he purpose of the NHSSM is to create enthusiasm for scholarship in the area of Sports Medicine and other fields directly related to sports medicine, to stimulate a desire to render service in the community, to promote leadership, and to assist in the development of character in high school students. Students are required to have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 and a Sports Medicine GPA of 3.5. Graduating seniors may be awarded service, scholarship, and leadership pins as well as a cord if they are members in good standing.
